The Lasso Alumni Association has awarded $48,500 in college scholarships to graduating Lasso seniors over the years. Each year the LAA awards three named scholarships to help Lassos further their education. We’re proud to present the scholarship recipients.
- Samantha Dominguez – Jack Long Scholarship
- Catherine Alvarado – Constance Douglas Scholarship
- Skylar Garcia – JoAnn Ehrlich Dickinson Scholarship
Each scholarship is $1,500.

So proud of you Samantha!!! You gave it your all for 3 years!! You accomplished being rope captain for 2019-2020!!! You worked hard all last summer to accomplish the Texas skip and did it!!! You Are a great teacher and leader you made sure the girls learned new and old rope tricks so that tradition will live on!!! We love you and are proud that you will attend A&M to pursue your love of dance by majoring in dance education!!! Just remember baby once a lasso always a lasso!!!
