Support the Lassos: Big Give Is Sept. 18!
Save the date! The Big Give is Sepember 18, 2024 beginning at 6 p.m. and is your opportunity to support the Lassos.
The Big Give is 24 hours of giving that has supported the San Antonio nonprofit community to raise funds since 2014. The Lasso Alumni Association (LAA) participates in the Big Give each year as this is one of the largest fundraisers for our organization. The money we raise helps the LAA provide support to the current Lasso organization in many ways.
- Scholarships to graduating seniors. Our organization has distributed over $80,000 in scholarships to deserving Lassos. In 2024, the LAA awarded 6 $2000 scholarships to graduating Lassos.
- Camp and dance workshop assistance. Workshops help sharpen the Lassos’ skills and allow them be more confident with their performances. The Lassos continue to win in every contest they perfomr
- Financial assistance. We provide funding on an as-needed basis for uniforms and related dance gear so each girl can fulfill her dream of being a Lasso.
The LAA provides much support to the Lassos, but only with help from individuals like you. Please consider donating to the LAA during the Big Give 2023 beginning September 18, 2024 at 6 p.m. and continuing through September 19, 2024 at 6 p.m.
